THE extension of Metro Line 4, the Longhua Line opened this month in Shenzhen- a special economic zone of China. There are totally 120 TVMs(Ticket Vending Machine) and AGM(Automatic Gate Machine) serving in the line, which are all made, installed and maintained by GRGBanking.
The line which is expected to improve the city’s traffic condition for the coming World Universities Game, will cut the travel time from Qinghu in Bao’an District to Futian Checkpoint to 32 minutes. It will also be easier for Longhua residents to travel to Hong Kong. The extension covers a distance of 16 kilometers and includes 10 stations from Children’s Palace to Qinghu Station.
GRGBanking’s management attachs great importance to the project. Most of the machine deployed in Line 4 are Through-the-wall model with artistic design. Besides, the GRG TVMs and AGMs are easily accessible for the disables because the screens are low.
In order to ensure the stable operation of the TVMs and AGMs in use in line 4 during the coming Universiade, GRGBanking has worked out a maintenance scheme, and founded a professional team of more than 20 technicians in particular for the project. The machines will be inspected every day by the GRG maintenance team during Universiade 2011.
The Universiade is an international sporting and cultural festival which is staged every two years in a different city and which is second important sport event in the world after the Olympic Games. Universiade 2011 will be held Shenzhen in August 2011.
