GRGBanking Releases New ATM Customized Operating System GRG-XPE

Recently GRGBanking released the customized operating system for ATM on the product launch press conference in CIFTEE in Beijing. Assistant General Manager Mr. Luo Panfeng along with other GRG leaders introduced and demonstrates the new GRG-XPE to PBOC and the CBRC officials, banking users, self-service experts and media. The conference marks that, GRG-XPE, GRGBanking's ATM customized operating system roll out from pilot test into overall promotion and implementation phase.

With intelligent control, customization, data recovery, security policy configuration, behavior monitoring and surveillance and other functions, GRG-XPE enables administrators to manage and control terminals in an integrated way so that ATM can run in high efficiency, safety and convenience way

Nowadays, most of the ATM operating systems are using Windows XP Professional or XPE. As banking industry demand more on security, efficiency and integrity of ATM operating system, customized operating system is becoming the first choice. GRGBanking took the lead to launch GRG-XPE on the basis of Windows Embedded platform. XPE has a higher self-protection than tranditional Operation System.Meanwhile, it can be integrated with security solution to excute the real-time system risk control and improve the security of self-service terminals..

GRG Banking and Microsoft held a ceremony in Oct 2010, to unveil the Joint Development Laboratory which is located in the GRG industrial park, Guangzhou, China. The Lab works on developing the customized operating system for ATM which can satisfy the banking need of an easy to use, secure and stable operating system. By setting up the Joint Development Laboratory, both companies hope to benefit from each other’s strength and experience in its own field, so as to provide better products and service to the banks. Over the past year, the co-operation is deeper, more consensuses are achieved and more good comments from the customers of the pilot test are received.
