GRG HK Represents GRG in ATMIA conference

GRG Banking Equipment (HK) Co., Limited, (GRG HK hereafter) , a subsidiary of financial self service solution provider GRG Banking Equipment Co., Limited, participated in the annual ATMIA conference held in Novotel Century Hotel on 13th, July, 2010. General Manager of GRG HK, Dr. Eduardas Vaigauskas delivered a speech with the theme “Turning to face the world” in the one-day event with attendees from Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Mainland China, etc..

ATMIA, a non-profit industrial association, owns a membership of 600 in more than 30 countries, including 72 banks and member companies and covering the complete spectrum of the ATM industry. It has successfully established chapters in the United States, Canada, Europe, Africa and Australia/Asia. As one of its global sponsor, it has been the fourth year for GRG attended ATMIA Asia conference. For GRG HK, it was the debut in Asia in a public event.

For this year’s ATMIA Asia event, new ideas and industrial practices were shared, among which were Philippine’ ISO model with commercial banks, retailer’s cash management, Cash forecasting to better manage cash in ATM. Gaining much popularity in last year’s event, Witham Laboratory expert were invited again to share their knowledge on ATM security.

 

GRG HK, which is now responsible for the global business operation of GRG participated this conference with its idea in cash management and the public debut representing GRG in overseas market, as its general manager Dr. Vaigauskas said during the speech “With regional sales directors-localization and key market specification strategy, we have a better understanding of the customer as well as market demand and trend in the region.”

 

“I was amazed by the performance of our technology in some countries competing on the same stage with all the big international names and at that moment we believe we can have a good strike for our technology, just with the right marketing strategy and product strategy.”

 

As an industrial expert with in-depth understanding of characters in each region, GRGHK general manager stresses that“Although we have equally good technology and solution, we are not only competing with industrial players, but alsocompeting with the misguided customer expectation that made-in-china means half of the price with the same technology. This Internationalization step of GRG will lead us a more professional image of GRG.”
